UseHarris termite powder for infestation and prevention of termites. It also helps control wood destroying insects and mold and fungi that cause wood rot.
Steps for Mixing Harris Termite Powder
Start by filling a one gallon bucket about 80% of the way up with water. Leave some room so you can stir the mixture easily
Add one pound of termite powder to the water.
Stir the mixture until the powder has completely dissolved and the liquid is clear. This may take about 5 minutes.
Add the remaining water to equal one gallon total. One pound (16 ounces) of powder makes one gallon (128 ounces) of liquid termite killer, which will cover approximately 200 square feet.
If you do not want to make a full gallon, follow the same ratios. The powder will last indefinitely if it remains dry.
Steps for Applying Harris Termite Killer
After you have mixed the powder and water, you can apply Harris Termite Killer with a paint brush, roller brush, trigger spray bottle, or garden tank sprayer.
If you are treating a large, open area like an attic, crawl space, fence, deck, etc. a garden tank sprayer may be your best option.
Apply the liquid to clean, dry wood that is unsealed.
Apply Harris Termite Killer until the wood is completely wet. A second application should be made between 1-24 hours later.
Harris Termite Killer can also be injected into holes, cracks, walls, etc.
